Security & trust

Your money data stays yours

FinRayan only works if you trust it with the numbers that matter. This page explains, in plain language, exactly how your information is stored, who can reach it, and how to take it back. Last reviewed: August 2026.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Every request is served over HTTPS, and your stored data sits in an encrypted managed database with automatic backups.

Visible only to you

Row-level security policies tie every record to your user ID. There is no shared table, no cross-account query path, and no public read access on your financial data.

Your account, your keys

Sign-in uses email and password with verification, plus an optional in-app lock. Sessions are scoped to your device and can be signed out at any time.

Payments handled by Stripe

Checkout, cards, invoices, and refunds are processed by Stripe. FinRayan stores only the subscription status needed to unlock Premium.

Export and delete on demand

Take your data with you in CSV, Excel, or PDF, or remove your account and every entry from Settings without contacting support.

Minimal by design

FinRayan asks for the least it needs: an email, a name, and the figures you choose to enter. No contacts, no location, no device scanning.

Common questions

Does FinRayan need my bank login?
No. FinRayan works entirely from what you enter yourself. Optional bank connectivity is read-only and can be disconnected at any time, nothing is required to use the app.
Can anyone at FinRayan see my numbers?
Your rows are locked to your account at the database level, so the app can only ever read your own data. Support can see your account email and plan, never your entries.
What happens to my data if I stop using FinRayan?
You can export everything (CSV, Excel, PDF) and delete your account and all financial rows yourself from Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
Do you store my card details?
No. Payments run through Stripe. FinRayan never receives or stores your card number.
